PROGRAM MANAGER PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS:
The Program Manager, under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, will monitor contract compliance and program efficiencies of all in-house and community funded projects.
The Program Manager will provide professional leadership in advancing the mission goals of FGV Smart Start by cultivating broad-based collaborative efforts among diverse services, individuals, families and community groups.
The Program Manager will be a part of the agency's Executive Leadership Team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, Human Services or similar field is required.
In addition, 5 years of supervisory, management or administrative experience is required.
Candidate must have 10 years' experience including both management and program services.
Excellent supervision, coaching, facilitation, problem solving and conflict management experience.
Strong understanding of budgeting and fund accounting; fundraising and community relations; and child and development required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong computer skills are necessary, as well as the ability to work collaboratively to meet deadlines.
Must be detail oriented and have superior organizational skills.
Familiarity with local area preferred.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
Provide oversight of the administration of the Partnership in the absence of the Executive Director COO perform related task as assigned by the Executive Director.
Manage the Smart Start program proposal process including the bid process, collection and screening proposals, technical assistance, and presentation of proposals and/or complete program plan to the Executive Director and Executive Committee/Board Manage, review and re-write of draft and final program descriptions as needed by Smart Start and other funding sources.
Monitoring programs and contracts by reviewing reports and conducting periodic onsite visits to ensure compliance with stated activity goals and objectives as well as maximizing efficiencies Provide program consultation as needed including technical assistance to promote a high quality service delivery system Provide technical assistance to subcontractors regarding local and state reporting requirements Maintain subcontractor files in compliance with NCPC and the Partnership's requirements Working with Evaluator to design and administer report procedures for subcontractors Display knowledge of evidence-based programs Assist the Partnership staff in procuring funding sources and preparing grant requests Compile and submit appropriate data to the NC Partnership for Children Fostering and collaboration among program providers and program staff Supervise their staff and maintain personnel records Provide reports and records as requested to the Executive Director, Partnership Board, and NCPC Coordinate audit preparation activities Participate in staff planning and budget meetings Attend appropriate conferences or workshops as directed Hiring Salary Range:
