Henderson Country Club, located in Henderson, North Carolina, and managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring for Cart and Range Attendants.
Founded in 1924, Henderson Country Club has been the community's social and golf focal point for almost 100 years.
In addition to an 18 hole Gene Hamm designed golf course, the club offers tennis, pool, fitness, and fine dining amenities.
The golf course was recently renovated to enhance playability, maintainability, and strategic shot making for all skill levels of golfers.
Responsibilities of the Cart and Range Attendant at Henderson Country Club include:
Ensuring the Range and cart staging area presentation and appearance is always clean, pleasing to the eye, and impeccable in its presentation.
Ensuring all members and guests receive the highest level of service.
Completing daily opening or closing procedures.
Ensuring that the range ball inventory is always sufficient by picking the range/ washing the balls and filling the ball machine.
Setting up and breaking down the range tee.
Hand picking certain areas of the short game area.
Attending a monthly golf staff meeting that covers training, customer service, and progress since the prior month.
Following and implementing the management directives, programs, and policies.
Touring the cart staging area, bag drop, and driving range several times an hour to ensure it is operating accordingly.
Keeping the golf carts organized and clean with pencils, scorecards, tees, etc.
Anticipating the guests needs.
Assisting the Head Golf Professional with the cart staging during all tournament operations.
Required Skills The ability to self manage and plan to ensure the range ball inventory is always adequate.
The ability to provide exemplary member and customer service.
The endurance and commitment to work the long hours and weekend work that the club business requires.
Must have a thorough working knowledge of the club's golf and range operation.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to:
Walk and or stand for long periods of time, sit, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Lift up to 50 lbs.
occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently:
Be exposed to outside weather conditions including temperatures over 90 and below 40 degrees.
Work near:
moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
