The company is seeking a nursing technician to assume the primary responsibility and accountability for the secretarial duties, equipment cleaning and supply restocking, and communication systems for a designated time frame for a specific nursing unit or department. The secretarial duties include, but are not limited to, transcribing physician orders, using the computer order entry system, maintaining the patients medical records, ordering supplies, and greeting the public. The nursing technician also provides non-professional nursing duties appropriate for the age of the patients under the supervision of a registered nurse in accordance with the nursing practice act and hospital/department of nursing polices.
